I love this! It’s a beautiful typeface example and wonderful illustrated. What is your favorite typeface?
Hi Jen! Thanks for your compliment! As a technicality though, I would call this image “lettering” rather than a typeface – it is a hand-drawn set of words rather than a usable collection of letters that one can typeset with.
As for the favorite typeface question, that is difficult. I don’t have one in particular I like about all others, it really just depends on the project and application. There is a special relationship that typefaces have with the overall designs and content, and the fonts need to be carefully selected to appropriately match in each case. But, I do of course have many “favorite” typefaces… I should make a list sometime…
